DIY Chalk Paint [Only TWO Ingredients]!

I have been wanting to make chalk paint for a while, and I just kept putting it off.  Now, I don't know why; it's so simple!

I gathered my TWO ingredients and made myself a chalk board.

My "board" is an old window from a shed
that was torn down in our back yard.

I sanded it down.

I spray-painted the sides.

Mixed the ingredients and painted!

Let it dry.

Thank you! Pink is my favorite and it brightens up the room so much more than black would!

Thanks, Kathi!  It looks so great in our bedroom/craft room with the yellow shelves I'm currently working on :)
I have been planning to try this for the longest time and never seem to do it. Such a quick and easy project, I will have to actually make it happen. Love the old window.

Same here, Kimberly!  After I finished, I wondered what took me so long.  And, the window was a complete accident.  I had it sitting out with the trash and last minute asked my husband to grab it before the garbage truck took it.  I am so glad he did!
